This Project is the construction of a new 120,000 square foot office building as Phase I of a two-phase, two-wing 200,000 square foot facility joined at a multi-story lobby. Upon completion it will serve as the combined headquarters for the Massachusetts Army and Air National Guard.
Interior space has been designed to be highly flexible in order to accommodate changing needs of the National Guard divisions. The building design includes numerous sustainable features, including water efficient landscaping, optimized energy performance, recycled-content building materials and adherence to an Indoor Air Quality Management Plan.
The project is expecting to seek LEED Silver certification.
