This project is the construction of a new Memorial Elementary School adjacent to the existing school. The new building is 78,500 square feet, comprised of pre-school, kindergarten, and classrooms for grades one through five. The new facility will also include a gymnasium, cafeteria, library/media center, art room, music room and administrative offices.

The completed site will include expanded parking, dedicated bus traffic access and handicap access. Upon completion of the new building, the existing building will be demolished. Final site work will include play fields and landscaping.

The project was completed for occupancy with the new school year starting September, 2011. Demolition of the existing structure and site work will continue through the end of 2011.
