CTA Construction named as industry-leading green construction firm

Engineering News-Record ranked CTA Construction on its list of Top 100 Green Building Contractors for the third straight year

Waltham, Mass. (October 18, 2016) – CTA Construction has been named an industry-leading green construction firm for the third straight year.

In August, Engineering News-Record magazine ranked CTA Construction on its list of Top 100 Green Building Contractors, based on revenues generated through environmentally-friendly construction projects. In 2015, CTA’s green revenue reached $94 million, or 84 percent of its total revenue.

“It’s a great honor for CTA Construction to once again be listed among the Top 100 Green Building Contractors,” said Patrick Tompkins, principal of CTA Construction. “This ranking validates our firm’s continued commitment to the mission of building sustainable facilities with practices and materials that are environmentally responsible and locally sourced.”

CTA Construction is currently working on nine different projects across Massachusetts, including a new Town Center for Dedham, a new Public Safety Building for Scituate, and a new Middle School in Holden. Six of these nine projects are set to meet green building standards.

CTA is a leading construction manager in the academic market, many of which are designed with sustainable elements and to meet the LEED for Schools standards. In addition to academic facilities, CTA’s portfolio includes office, municipal and college buildings, commercial space, public safety facilities, and residential developments.
