This project is the construction of a new 78,000 sf four-story steel framed structure on a 6.5 acre sloped site, with lower and upper parking lots. The new facility is designed to be a NZEB (Net Zero Energy Building). MassDOT (Massachusetts Dept of Transportation) moved to this facility upon completion. The scope of work includes site work, paving, concrete foundations, masonry, mechanical systems, curtain wall, glazing, doors and hardware, finishes, flooring, solar photovoltaic and canopy, new generator and fueling station. Building finishes include LED lighting, low flow plumbing fixtures, triple pane windows, additional insulation in the walls and roof, and premium efficient heating and air conditioning systems.
