This project consists of new construction of a five story, 96,000 SF new residential building in Allston, MA. Currently under construction, this project is being designed to utilize modular building methods to construct this facility. The project also includes the demolition and removal of existing structures onsite and extensive sitework on a tight urban site. The new building will include 80 market rate and affordable apartment units, underground parking for 68 vehicles and first floor retail space. Located on a narrow parcel between the MBTA commuter rail and a public right of way the site logistics present challenges for CTA and its subcontractors. The unit sizes range from studio to three-bedroom apartments. The exterior is clad with fiber cement siding, fiber cement panels, metal panels, aluminum clad wood windows, and curtainwall.
