The new Burlington Police Station project consists of the construction of a modern, 39,000 SF public safety facility designed to support the Town’s current and future law enforcement needs. Replacing the former 1897 Union School building, the new station blends traditional New England civic architecture with advanced security, technology, and operational features. The facility includes improved patrol and administrative areas, modern booking and prisoner processing spaces, evidence handling, records, interview rooms, training areas, staff support spaces, and secure vehicle operations. The design enhances workflow, safety, accessibility, and energy performance while maintaining an architectural character compatible with Burlington’s municipal campus. The project provides the Police Department with a purpose-built, code-compliant headquarters capable of serving the community for decades to come.
