Phased construction of a new 91,000sf elementary school and demolition & abatement of an existing 62,000sf school on an occupied site. Sitework includes a new synthetic turf field and resilient track. The new school accommodates 600 students and includes a 5,700sf gymnasium, a 383 seat cafeteria, and a 3,300sf library/media center. The project participated in the Massachusetts Collaborative for High Performance Schools (MA CHPS). Construction took place at a tightly confined urban site.
