The Carver Elementary School Project involves the new construction of a 2-story 112,350 SF building immediately adjacent the existing school buildings which will remain fully operational for the duration of the project. Two new wells will be brought online and connected to the two existing school buildings, along with a new water treatment system to address elevated levels of manganese and potentially corrosive characteristics observed within the water supply. The new building will be energy efficient and Northeast CHPS verified. Building completion is scheduled for the Summer of 2018 with final site improvements, including the play fields and play areas, in late Fall 2018.
