This phased project involves the construction of a new 81,000 sf Elementary School and renovations to the existing 85,000 sf Middle School, both of which share the same site and will be occupied during construction. New classrooms, special education spaces, art and music rooms, a cafeteria, gymnasium and administrative spaces are being added to the new school. Renovations to the Middle School involve classrooms, auditorium, gymnasium, cafeteria, exterior masonry and roof, windows and doors, HVAC and electrical, fire and plumbing systems, and demolition and rebuild of such limited areas as administrative offices and nursing suite. The new Elementary School is certified as LEED for Schools at the Silver level.
