This project is the construction of a new 126,000 sf regional Middle School / High School adjacent to the existing, occupied 98,000 sf building. The site is adjacent to the Wachusett Reservoir and requires substantial wetlands protection. Construction is on an aggressive 18-month schedule for completion of the new building, followed by demolition of the existing structure. Site work includes site utilities, new parking areas, reconfigured access ways and athletic fields. The project is participating in the Massachusetts Collaborative for High Performance Schools (MA-CHPS) program.
