This project is a 50,000 sf gut rehab of the first two floors of a three-story office building at Logan International Airport, which became home to the new State Police Headquarters that services Logan International Airport and other Massport properties.  Renovations were completed while full uninterrupted access to a federal agency office on the 3rd Floor was maintained. Interior renovations include demolition, substantial structural repairs, new MEP&FP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection) systems, as well as new finishes throughout.  The facility features vehicle and maritime storage, detainee processing, holding cells, training classrooms, an emergency operation center, and various office and support areas.  The site was redesigned to accommodate parking for state police and other vehicles from other federal and building tenants.  This project is an Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) MA Excellence in Construction Merit Award winner.
